These projects were the most interesting to me. Using Computer Aided Design (CAD) was a different experience and I really enjoyed trying something new!!
This first piece was probably the hardest and most rewarding project I did in CAD. For this project we had to come up with something ironic to chocolate which was the most challenging part to making this piece. We then printed the object in 3D and created a silicon mold to make chocolates.
This piece was about creating a talisman that meant something to you! I created a shamrock keychain in memory of my grandfather who had just passed away recently.
These last four pieces are all part of one project. The project was about recognizing objects we use everyday like handles, buttons, pull and push, etc. The concept of the project was to figure out how to create a new shape but still functional.
